I mentioned last week or the week before that my comic shop was going out of business. I sighed, I bought out a nice stack of their stock, and today I got up and went out to find my comics for the week. There are actually a variety of stores in town that sell comics, but none of them are particularly good at it outside of my shop.

I'm not being petty, people. I have proof. I went over to the major comic/game store in town, and there was a sign on the door that said the comics had not been delivered due to a "shipping error."

Really? A shipping error? Riiight.

I'm skeptical on this for two reasons: 1) It's the week after a holiday (Memorial Day here in the States), and no well-run shop in their right mind would fuck up so bad as to have a "shipping error" on a week when comics are already coming out a day late (comics are usually released Wednesday, if there's a holiday in the week, they come out on Thursday), and 2) I can find no proof on any of the comic blogs I read or on google that there has been a "shipping error" for anyone else.

Wait, make that three reasons: I just called the northside store (we have two in town) and was informed that they got their comic shipment just fine. Somebody at the south store fucked up bad.

Good show, guys. Really.
