I actually picture him as a kind of teetotaller. For a couple of reasons... he seems very old-school to me. There's no electricity in the wilds of the O.Z. but he doesn't seem to mind it. I'm thinking that he probably left his family to go to the 'big city' to make some money so they didn't lose the farm, or because someone was ill and he needed to get cash for medicine or something noble like that. The tough guy act is just that - an act, but he's good at it and he can make people believe it.

But I honestly don't think he really drinks that much. Particularly robot hooch, which peels paint and fuels jet engines.

And for my purposes, he's TOTALLY a rambler. I need him to tell more about how everything in the O.Z. changed when DG was smuggled out of it. Because he HATES motorized vehicles and what AzkaD has done to the environment.
