Fucking Oxen

John drowned when I tried to ford the river.
Kyle broke his leg, then died.
One of my oxen got injured.

Guess what I'm playing?
And guess where the names come from?

EDIT: And now Alan has typhoid. Damnit, Alan.
EDIT 2: And now Alan broke his leg. Double damnit, Alan!
EDIT 3: And now Hal has typhoid.
EDIT 4: And now Hal has CHOLERA. Pick one, dude.
EDIT 5: And now an oxen has died. Fucking oxen.
EDIT 6: And now Alan broke his arm. Alan, seriously, you're just trying to fuck this up, aren't you?
EDIT 7: I win! Suck it, monkeys! Alan, Hal, and Guy survived. As well as three oxen.

A friend of mine was playing Oregon Trail on her computer, and the game went by so fast. It was creepy.

It's kind of a mind bender to think that OT was the shit when we were kids, and it was two diskettes for something like an hour's worth of play. I kept cracking up at the graphics. You're traveling over green land, and then it's orange, and then it's green. That's some high-tech shit right there.

Hell, being able to play OT and Number Munchers on the computers with color was freaking awesome. We just had the computers that were different shades of green.

Oh, childhood. <3

Hee. Yeah, the injuries and illnesses crack me up.

(And I'm actually watching Top Gear as I read my friends page, so your icon also cracked me up. I'm easily amused.)

TG makes everything better. Even if what you have is pretty awesome to begin with.

And they've got Michael Gambon on! Cool.
