A dozen ideas that just won't form

I've attempted to write, or add to, at least seven or eight pieces of fic in the last two days. Nothing is cooperating. NOTHING. Therefore, I shall list all the stories I have ideas for and hope someone can help me knock something loose.

1. Numb3rs-Charlie/Larry-Charlie and Larry spend a summer teaching kids at a math and science camp. There's much nerding out, disciplining of screaming kids, and 12-year-old girls with crushes on Charlie. [The other teachers will have crushes on Larry, natch.]

2. Numb3rs-Charlie/Larry-I wanna do a cliche' fic, and what better cliche is there than the supportive chick [Amita] having to save Charlie or Larry from an insufferable woman who can't take the hint that the boys aren't interested? I'm starting to really like Amita because while she *is* trying to date Charlie, she's still *smart*.

3. Numb3rs-Charlie and Larry-First-time meeting. Awkward!Charlie and Patient!Larry. Two university misfits bond at one of those unending campus dinners.

4. News RPS-Keith Olbermann/Anderson Cooper-I don't have a plot, just Anderson Cooper in eyeliner, lipstick, and a duct tape skirt. It'd make a great Halloween fic.

5. News RPS-Jon Stewart/Anderson Cooper-A sequel to "Almost-Funny Morning" where Anderson gets back to New York and he and Jon get a couple of days before Anderson goes storm whoring again.

6. Law & Order: SVU/CI-Eliot/Bobby-Bobby meets Eliot's kids. Twitching, sizing up, and a slightly Marueen ensue.

7. Law & Order: SVU/CI-Eliot/Bobby-a sequel to "Fraternity", wherein Eliot and Bobby, a few weeks after their fateful jazz club bathroom fuck, come face-to-face when their cases overlap. Sex.

8. Threshold-Nigel/Lucas-No plot yet. I just wanna write more geek love. Geek love is the best.

9. Nero Wolfe-Archie/Saul-Post-"Disguise for Murder" because Saul is so tetchy throughout the whole thing and Archie gets hurt, so h/c baby!

10. Horatio Hornblower-Horatio/William-Horatio has his head shaved for some reason [lice?] and poor William is left with nothing to grab.

11. Horatio Hornblower-Horatio/William-Something with a rainstorm.

12. I wanna write bondage fic. I just don't know who's into that just yet.

1. I think there should be at least one 12-year-old boy with a crush on Charlie, who should get caught watching Charlie and Larry make out in their cabin. There may have to be a nice, "okay to be gay!" message in there though,

4. Yes yes and yes. That is all.

5. Whatever else it involves, it should have good meals and good sex. Maybe even a conversation.

I realize the last two have been less than helpful, but I'm still working out what to fasten the wrist restraints to. Which brings us to:

12. I'm finding that Keith and Andy are into it...

1. I think you're exactly right. I don't know if he'll catch them making out, but I'll find something.

4. Oh, you're excited about that? You *were* the one to put the idea in my head. Can't imagine where the glee comes from.

5. Does Jon cook? [Not that it matters; I can lie.] And of course there's a conversation. Hopefully less awkward than the previous ones, since they've hit the big L.

And they are helpful. It's good to know that the ideas are enjoyed before they're written.

12. I'm still toying with that Keith/Tucker bowtie!bondage idea that was getting batted around a few weeks ago.

1. Maybe not catch them, true. But really, a Baby Gay Math Geek would so totally crush on Charlie and see him (and Larry) as a positive role model.

4. I am a whore for boys in eyeliner. Period.

5. Yes, less akward is what I meant. The relationship will be awfully stunted if there's big L yet no words to go with it.

12. Okay. I resisted the idea of Tucker slash for a long time, but people are making me read it and it's not completely repulsive. Besides, I like the idea of Keith having a partner that's his match size-wise.

I think 4 and 12 might work together. The eyeliner, fishnets (because its only right), and duct tape start off as a joke and lead to things getting a little bit more serious.

I'm sure this doesn't really help, but #3 sounds adorable. Er...maybe Charlie expecting Larry to talk down to him, but he doesn't, because it's Larry, and Larry doesn't realize Charlie's only like, twelve or whatever until halfway into the conversation, because he was distracted when Charlie first came in?

Bah. Sorry for the rambling. ^__^ Also, I agree with the two peoples above me, about #1.

Random fannish person here, liking the #1. You know, I don't think we've seen Charlie interact with anyone younger than his college students. (Unless there's something in season 2. Which I begin watching shortly! Yay for the wobbie!) He's something like the Ultimate Triumph of The Geek, because not only is he in his 30s and successfully devoted to his geeky passion, he's cool. He works for the FBI. I can't imagine any kid in a math camp not being totally in love.

I'm kind of wondering how Charlie would react to that kind of attention from kids. Because you know they won't confine themselves to the classroom. Can you imagine Charlie dealing with camp counselor type demands? Homesick children, really not smart projects, nosy questions about his personal life? ("Do you like girls, Professor Eppes? Do you have a girlfriend, Professor Eppes?")

I just wanted to say that I am a huge fan of "Almost Funny Morning" and would be forever in your debt if you finish and post another part when they are back in NY. Any chance of that, or are you still suffering from writer's block? Let me know if you are, I would be glad to bounce ideas off of you.

What a great offer! Thank you!

The writer's block has actually lifted, but I'm in the midst of NaNoWriMo. Never fear, it's going quite well, and I should be able to take a night off soon.
