Where to even start?
So, Mike, you don't need help knowing how to pick up men in a bar? This is good information for Connie to pass to Jack. Just in case she thinks you're stepping out.
And, Jack, I saw you looking at all the pretty men in your office. Naughty. Go to Mike's room.
Of course, who steals the show but Van Buren? Her instructions, and then Bernard and Lupo telling her she's freaking them out was fucking BRILLIANT. She was completely business-like and wasn't at all uncomfortable sharing what she learned in Vice, and there are Bernard and Lupo clearly thinking, "We do not want to know that our Lieutenant knows how to cruise for sex. Because she is our Lieutenant, and that is WEIRD."
In short, L&O keeps me happy because it keeps me insanely interested in what's going on from scene-to-scene. Yes, the men are pretty and the women are kickass [and also pretty], but I have always appreciated L&O as the king of the procedurals, and it's on a fantastic run right now.
