Fangirl-squee! ::SQUEE::
Jun. 5th, 2004 12:46 amOMG, so once upon a time Sci-Fi channel had this little show called "The Invisible Man" that was badass and slashy, and really just fantastic. And then it got randomly cancelled.
And I got pissed.
But then, Paul Ben-Victor and Vincent Ventrusca had a guest spot on "Las Vegas", and they basically played Bobby and Darien have a grand weeked in Vegas. Sure, they *call* themselves 'Mike' and 'Elliot', but we true IM fans know the real story. And if you want my version, it's just below.
For
julianlee, because our version of their love story has yet to see light. ::grin::
"Where were you in '93?"
Darien stopped thumbing through the ridiculously long room service menu and looked over at Bobby. "I'm not sure. Prison? Maybe?"
"Maybe?"
"I've been there a lot."
"Yeah, I think we busted you out of one." Bobby stuck the second pillow on the bed behind his head and watched Darien put down the room service menu in favor of the hotel's guest services book. "Why do you have us coming here since '93?"
"Looks good to have a little history here. Makes it easier to be a little off-kilter."
"So if you go stark raving mad, we can blame it on years of bad service?"
Darien shrugged. "Sure." He moved his watchband to check his tattoo. "But I should be okay." He grinned at Bobby.
Bobby grinned back and patted the bed. "Would you get over here, already?"
"Guess I could." Darien tossed the guest services book aside and walked over to the bed.
"Shoes." Bobby waited for Darien to toe off his sneakers. "Shirt." He nodded in approval when Darien pulled off his looser-than-usual shirt and the undershirt underneath it. "Pants." The pants went with a flourish that only Darien could pull off. "Now, c'mere."
Darien slid onto the bed next to Bobby and got his hands under his shirt. "Shirt." He yanked it over Bobby's head. "Pants." He took them off much more slowly, much to Bobby's muttered dissent. He kissed Bobby's knee, and then pulled himself back up to kiss Bobby's mouth. He sighed when he lowered himself over Bobby and felt the other man's hands settle on his hips. "Fuckin' hell. I've been waiting for this."
Bobby chuckled against Darien's mouth and pushed at his hips until he turned on his side. "I can't believe you actually got the Agency to get us the money for this trip."
"Little blackmail is a wonderful thing." Darien gasped when Bobby kissed the side of his neck. "So's being better at cards than anyone else in the building." He ran his fingernails up Bobby's back. "You grifter."
"You pick locks; I count cards. So what?"
"We're going to make a killing this weekend."
Bobby grinned down at Darien. "Hell, yeah."
Also note: imdb is showing a DVD set of IM on the main information page of the show. Dude. Is the show out on DVD yet, or is this just a massive tease? Must investigate.
::investigates::
Can find nothing that matches up with imdb being a massive tease.
Have discovered that "Nero Wolfe" (the version with Timonthy Hutton) is apparently coming out on DVD. Re-cue the squee.
