Blood, violence, and a moment of pain

Just saw "Grindhouse". As the boy and I walked out of it, we heard a guy say, "I still don't know why they carded for this." Apparently the blood, gore, face disintegration, cursing, explosions, and the ass-kicking of Kurt Russell just didn't do much for him.
But seriously, if you can handle all that [and in SPADES], you should totally see it.
And in the 'oy' moments for the evening:
The headline for the user review of "Grindhouse" on imdb:
Slightly disappointed, though expectations we're admittedly very high
And if you can't tell me what's wrong with that sentence, please leave.
The second 'oy' moment came from my e-mail, wherein someone was trying to be helpful and posted something akin to the following [I'm paraphrasing]:
Hey, Farscape people, Nathan Fallon is going to be on that new show "Drive"
There was never a Nathan Fallon on "Farscape". There was a Nathan Fillion on "Firefly". And Nathan Fillion will be on "Drive". I hope it's good. And that people trying to be helpful will have a better grasp of their actors and shows next time.
