Music meme!
Jan. 3rd, 2008 04:15 pmList seven songs you are into right now, no matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good but they must be songs you're really enjoying now.
1. Jean Genie-David Bowie
2. Life on Mars-David Bowie
3. Space Oddity-David Bowie
4. That's When he Told Her-The Proclaimers
5. The Sweetest Thing-U2
6. Never Tear Us Apart-INXS
7. Man on a Bicycle-Paul Gross & David Keeley
1-3 are fully the result of my "Life on Mars" addiction.
4-6 are songs we were debating for the music at the reception. INXS made it. U2 did not [it's a love song, but it's an apology, too. Not quite the atmosphere we want.]. The Proclaimers is up in the air at the moment [the boy needs to listen to it and make the final call.].
7 is just a long-time favorite. It's from Paul's "Two Houses" CD, which I found as if by magic at the local CD shop five or six years ago. I freakin' love that album, but "Man on a Bicycle" always tops the list.
