perpetual_motion: hang yourself please (molly has two daddies)
Spoiler cut, under which I say AWESOME a lot )

I'm sure I forgot something, but I think that'll cover the general feelings for now. In short, OMG YAY HEROES. In slightly longer, I'm going to say a couple of things about Maya:

First and foremost, Maya is not a character. As I said under the cut, Maya is simply a group of hysterical outbursts squeezed into a top that is a size too small. She has no decernible personality. She cries. She screams. She begs people to do shit or not to do shit. She cries some more. She almost kills people but scales it back. Surely there is another character on the show who could have filled this role and been vaguely interesting. Maya is nothing but a plot device who isn't even trussed up with enough possible forward momentum to be interesting.

Kring and the gang are getting flack for their lack of character deaths, and I understand that. The cast is getting huge. Let's drop some dead weight. Let's GET RID OF MAYA. She is boring, ridiculous, and nothing more than scenery until she's needed for black tear-crying and general whining and moaning. Come the fuck on.

Can't believe I forgot the first one )

And, much like the other list, a quick note to end it out:

Dear Wardrobe and Make-Up People:

Hi! Me again! I just wanted to drop a note and throw out a couple of suggestions.

Firstly, kudos to the make-up crew for doing such a good job in the opener. The blood was cool. Everyone looked suitably fucked up when they needed to look fucked up, and your work on Peter was outstanding. I just wanted to throw you a little love, because you rocked it out.

Secondly, wardrobe people, I think you know what I'm going to say. Could you please, just once, get Matt Parkman to either wear a shirt that fits or have him tuck it in? Greg Grunberg's worked hard to get into shape, and I think he deserves to show it off a little. Hell, I was pushing for the wardrobe adjustment before he talked about wanting to lose weight and get into shape. I know it's hard to dress a square guy [I married one], but make a little effort, yeah? You've put him into a suit. He looks great in a suit. I know you can make him look great in the jeans and t-shirt combo. So, you guys get on that, and I'll be over here hoping for a possible scene where Parkman's clothes actually flatter him.
