A different approach to NaNo
Nov. 8th, 2008 05:44 pmSo I'm finding myself fairly indifferent to my NaNo. It's there, and I don't despise it, but I'm just kind of "meh" over it. I have, however, written 4,000 words of fic this week, so I'm still ahead of the curve, word count wise.
I do love the idea of NaNo: write like the hounds of hell are at your heels and don't stop for anything, but I'm just not in that headspace right now.
So, instead, I'm just going to write as much as I want on any new idea I have [keeping with the idea that it must be new as of November 1] and use the meter as a way to keep up.
