So, I was just settling in to watch "Scrubs" last night, and suddenly, there's a knock on the door. It is the boy, and I am so flattered that he dropped in just because I left him a message about show tickets, that I let him come in and watch "Scrubs" with me.
Why did it have to be one of the gayest eps ever?
Why?
Do you know how hard it is not to shout "Big Gay Bastard Love!" when Perry is trying to give JD a hug?
Do you know how hard it is *not* to grab a pen and paper and write a little scene when the word "spooning" is used by Perry with no prompt?
Do you know how hard it is not to squee until you're deaf because your boyfriend is sitting on the couch with you, and while he understands your love of Jon C. McGinley, he doesn't yet know about your love for the Perry/JD dynamic that he doesn't see.
It's a good thing he's cute.
Also, I just about cried everytime Carla called Turk 'Superman'. I know the ep was done well before Christopher Reeve passed, but it's timing was perfect. And the end note to John Ritter was lovely. "Scrubs", as always, did it right.
Thanks to
julianlee for her squee, that reminded me to squee.
