That pretty much sums up my feelings as well. Well, that and the slight case of misty eyes I got when Ned Beatty stopped in to see Jack. As any mention of Adam Schiff gets me a little teary. Because Adam was fabulous, and you know mentions of him, while Jack sits in his chair, probably makes Jack a little teary as well. In my personal canon, Jack McCoy never thought of that office as anyone but Adam's. Yeah, sure, Nora and Arthur showed up and sat at that desk, but to Jack, it was always Adam's office. Except that now it's his, and that's very confusing for him.

I think you just infected me with a plotbunny. Which is good, because I've been trying to be good and post something for my own challenges on thursday100plus, and I've been having a little trouble with the challenge I posted last week.

N'awww. Yeah, I can see Jack feeling like that, especially considering that he's done all sorts of questionable things as a lawyer, and he's gone before the disciplinary committee a number of times. I wonder if he ever thought he'd become the DA, or if he always figured that he'd be there until he retired...

I don't think Jack ever expected to be in the big chair. You can tell by his overall conduct that he didn't really have higher expectations than to be an EDA. I'm really looking forward to watching the rest of Jack's sudden political aspirations come together.
