WOW.
I'm not sure where to start with my love of this episode. It was so well woven together, and the direction was great, and Van Buren got to be a badass.
Oh, yes, those are all great, but what's the greatest is watching Jack balance between politics and his sense of justice. And his sense of justice winning out in the end? FANTASTIC.
Because it's Jack Fucking McCoy, ladies and gents, and no amount of needing to win an election is going to make him send the wrong person to prison.
And, oh, the looks between he and Mike. So much admiration and care and concern. CAN IT BE SECKS TIEM NAO PLEZ?
