Comic Dork Sunday: the new JLI

I reviewed the new JLI awhile back and am too damned lazy to look for the entry to link you properly. All you have to know is that I liked it. Now, let's stop wondering why I can't be bothered to link and look at some pictures.
Let's start where we definitely need to start. The cover:

Given all that's been written on shitty female characterization and character design in the New DCU, I wanna give a shout-out to this cover. We've got four ladies on this cover, and not a single one of them is falling out of their top. Hell, that's the most covered up Vixen (the one in the yellow) has been in awhile. And not only that, but none of the ladies are in a completely inappropriate position compared to the men and everyone's uniform is equally tight. Which, hey, I am all for.
Also, after the early shots of Booster's uniform, it's nice to see a version of it that does not look like a total cock-up. In fact, I've got a second pic that shows it off as well:

He totally looks like he left his shorts at home, but you know what? The early sketches had those shoulder things sticking up and there were Lee Lines (tm) all over the damned things. I would like him to have a belt, but overall, he looks sharp.

Oh, Guy, honey, it's okay. I still love you the most of all, and your costume will never not be awesome.
And, lastly, one of the funniest panels I've seen in a long time (unintentionally funny variety):

World's greatest detective, everyone. He can find things when they are right fucking there.
