And I think that's just the end of the first act. If you follow screenwriting guidelines, the second act is twice the size of the first act, and the third act is about the same size as the first act. I swear to you, if I write 50,000 words of Power Rangers fan fic, you bitches better appreciate it.
It's Rocky/Billy, though it hasn't quite gotten there completely yet (they've kissed!), and as I'm dealing with Power Rangers, I'm glossing over anything remotely political or indicative of being a non-straight teenager in suburbia in the early 90s. There are fandoms that are built to take a long, serious look at the human condition and reality, and there are fandoms where teenagers wear color-coded t-shirts and try to make "Morphinominal" a catchphrase.
That does not, however, stop me from pointing out some of the weirder/creepier/more hilarious aspects of the Ranger-verse. Such as the following:
