In regards to Snape and muggle clothes:

Is Snape the type to dress effortlessly in muggle clothes or is he the type with straining shirt buttons because the shirt is too small and trailing, frayed jeans because his pants are too long?

And does he wear colors other than black?

And what does he do with his hair?

I think, if he does anything, he'll make a point of doing it right. After all, he's a spy; he's got to know how to fit in. So he'll look rather like any other muggle when he goes out.

His hairstyle, movie-wise, isn't so unusual; he wouldn't have to change a thing. Any longer than that and he can get away with a ponytail. People will just assume he's a geek. :-)

I agree, I think Snape would be able to blend in. He'd probably wear a lot of dark neutrals, if not all black. As for his hair...he probably wouldn't do much with it.

Though, the image of Snape with a ponytail is making me laugh. ^^
