Top Gear Raises a Question

I do not believe for a second that the harassment James got wasn't unprovoked. Usually, when the lads go after one another like that, there's a reason behind it [see Kristin Scott Thomas's appearance on the show last series. If you don't know what it means to "take the mickey", the utter hell James and Richard put Jeremy through should illustrate it nicely].

So, the question becomes, what did James do that so bothered the boys that they had to bother him right back?

Honestly, I figured it anyone was going to get it this week it would be Richard, after saying James and Jeremy should be fired for smoking on air and a couple of highly attractive women [whose names I've forgotten] should come on in their place.

Maybe the News Uncut for this week will help shed light on it, if there's more to it that they didn't show in the program.

(And I rather enjoyed Jeremy making James freak out about Jeremy's watch. I really shouldn't, but it's so rare that James will do something that doesn't seem thought out a hundred times.)

I did so love that, and I love the feeling of the whole thing, where James is the poor harassed bastard this week because, well, it's not as if they *need* a reason to harass each other, but they certainly take whatever small incentive they get. They're just, they're guys, and they badger each other mercilessly, and oh, but god, it's fun.
