You know what sucks?

Knowing that the "West Wing" is less than it was two years ago when I last watched.

Know what sucks more?

It still pulls me in and makes me watch it. It's still good enough to grab my attention.

In two hours of WW last night, I got one good quote. Two hours. I used to get five or six quotes an episode.

Although, I'll admit that seeing Will Bailey running around with his arms showing was a nice plus. Still, if Sorkin were still around, he'd be soaking wet in the pool. Damn you, Sorkin, why have you left us?

Also, when did the President become an Asshat?

You know what's great?

Googling the title and author of a story that you read way back years before and discovering that the fic is just as good as you remember it.

It's so nice to know that as I've matured as a writer other writers haven't lost their sheen. I've got a few writers that I used to read way back when, that when I read them now, I cringe a little. Hell, I cringe at some of my old stuff a little because I can see where I was as opposed to where I am now.

But it's really great to know that some stories maintain over time.
