Google is about to get rid of googlepages and switch to googlesites. I hate googlesites. I think it's a huge step backwards. So I'm looking at CSS examples, and I'm thinking it's a fairly easy step up from all the HTML I've done over the years. The question becomes, now, where do I go for webspace? I abandoned geocities for googlepages, and I'm not sure where to go from there.

Tips? Hints? Horror stories?
