I'm looking to cut off the Percy/Oliver at the line, "I suppose it is.", [page 72, word 23,252] and then take what I've written since then and make it a second story. Let me know your thoughts.

This is my only problem with lj. If you make a post about something, and then you make an update post, the update post shows up first and is confusing.

Oh, while I'm thinking about it [because I'm crap at commenting], what's your PWP that you're writing? I saw you mention it, and I thought, "Oh, I should ask", so I didn't. Because that's how I am.

Dude, I have to stop apologizing to you and start producing, but right now, I only have apologies. Well, not true. Because I have read and made comments, but I've only read it once, and I usually do two or three takes, especially on something as big and as good as your story. I hadn't anticipated the Skirmish sucking up so much of my time and energy - which might have been short-sighted, in retrospect.

But it's your story, and I hate slow beta turn around, myself, so your call - I can forward the first take to you, or I can go over it again before the weekend. And I'm tired, so it sounds sort of like I'm saying, 'here, take it and leave me alone,' which I'm totally not! I feel badly, though, because it's so good, it deserves to be out there! So, yes, what would you like? Or at least the first third does. (I'd personally love to have a little more time with it, because it's fun, but I understand if that's not cool with you.)

I'm writing a pwp for the Skirmish. Brad/Nate, fisting. And, seriously, I can't get them past a certain point. I don't know what's wrong. It's not the story, it's not a sudden aversion to kink, it's just - my creative energy right now is not flowing. I think, actually, it's been blocked since that thing with the guy. Fun times.

Take a couple more days with it. I've got the unintentional sequel, and the legally obligated "second pairing in same universe" fic to work on, so keep it a couple more days if that works for you. The sequel [now that I've removed it from the main story] is turning out incredibly fun because the Percy/Oliver gets to really build. I am such a sap.
