Regarding the DC Comics Relaunch

perpetual_motionI've got a longer post about this over at tumblr, where I am trying to hoard most of my comic book nerding, so as to keep this blog more generally fannish (compartmentalize, me? Yeah.). So lemme say this:
If the relaunch leaves me without my ginger bruiser, I will FUCK. SHIT. UP. Guy Gardner is one of the best characters in comics (and one of the best fictional characters in general), and if gets written out of the DCU, I will FUCK. SHIT. UP.
I do not yet know how I will fuck shit up, but there will be shit. It will be fucked up. It will be bad.
I will have similar reactions to anything happening to Kyle, John Stewart, the Corps in general, and a few more characters, but it'll be my ginger bruiser that is the definitive decision.
The thing that's getting me right now is that DC KNOWS they're only relaunching 52 titles. Why they can't give us the list right now (besides general marketing dickery), I don't know.
Oh, also, if we get Ted back (yup, my fingers are crossed), and something happens to Jaime? FUCK. SHIT. UP.
