Woo-Hoo!

[livejournal.com profile] crack_van offered me up the chance to rec the small fandom of my choice for August. I picked "Crossing Jordan", and I'm starting to compile a list of fics. Any suggestions?

[livejournal.com profile] merim_heddy, darling, you will be recced.

Was going to say the same thing, though I clicked on the "merim" first just to see if mebbe there was such a person (and if so, did she write CJ too?!)

:-)

My deepest apologies, oh great one. Spelling isn't possible at 1:00 AM on a Dr. Pepper high. Do forgive me.

I clicked it too, just to see ;)

It was late. I can't spell when it's late. It is supposed to be miriam, but with the amusement, I think I'll just leave it be.

I had no idea so many people wrote CJ. Of course, I've avoided FF since I had to gouge my eyes out that one time.

And you're reccing yourself? Not trashy at all. I'd rec myself if I weren't reccing, you know?
Posted by [identity profile] butterbuns.livejournal.com
Oh, there's more, I just didn't want to spend more time collecting them yesterday. Which time? *g* I've had to do it repeatedly, so I tend to avoid it like the plague now, at least for CJ. House hasn't gotten too, too bad yet, but it's starting to go.

See, I've always thought it was a little tacky, but meh.

I just realized that my statement made absoulutely no sense. I meant to say that I'd rec myself if anyone ever asked me to rec myself. The way I said it, I sounded like an egotist [which I am, but still.]

I've got reading to do.

Hey. I'm not going to suggest I be recced. That's everyone else's call.

However, YOU should be recced. :) Hee.

You know what's awesome? This total lovefest going on all over the place. We're all cheering each other on about our writing, and it's a really cool thing. I knew CJ was a cool fandom [double Brits will do that], but this is so great.

I'm so happy right now.

I think that CJ has some of the best fans ever. (Well, except for that small corner of fans that I want to smack with hammers. But let's ignore them.) And really, we CJ ficcers, we have to stick together. :)

There's so few of us that we must.
What small contingent are you trying to ignore? I don't really keep up with other fans in the fandom.

The idiots who whine about Jordan/Woody? *g* I'm just guessing here, but they're the ones I want to smack with hammers ;)

We must band together!

(The very, very scary W/J shippers. They're scaaaary.)

Flattery will get you everywhere. :)

I wouldn't mind reccing myself, but I don't think I can. Also, I think I'd look like a little egotist [which I am, but don't tell.]

What about "Messin' with the Kid" by that friend of yours who I discovered via your fic site? Because that is one of my favorite stories EVER.

Oh, "Messin' With the Kid" is totally getting recced. I always rec Julian Lee if I can. And this one's getting in for the sheer Woody!Confusion factor. And, of course, the 'gay madhouse' line.

I know! And Nigel sulking about losing the bet. (My favorite line in that is the one that goes, "Today was a bad day for the queers of the morgue" or whatever. Hehehe.
