My name is B. Cavis, and I’m dropping you this line to let you know that you have been nominated in the 2005 NCIS Fanfiction Awards.
The story(ies) you have been nominated for are:
Perpetual Motion -Tony/.McGee Non-NC-18: "Lies, Damned Lies, and a Grain of Truth" by Perpetual Motion -Best McGee Fic: "Vacation" by Perpetual Motion -Post-Ep/Missing Scene: "Giving Up on Sleep" by Perpetual Motion -Best Author
For those of you who have been nominated in the same category numerous times (ie-- you’ve got two up for a win in the Gibbs/Tony NC-18 category) you MUST decide which one of your nominated stories you wish to remain in the category and the running. If you do not send a reply to this address within five days (before the 15th), I’ll choose for you by picking whichever one takes less time to erase from the listings.
No one may have more than one story per category, but you are permitted to have a single story in as many categories as you have been nominated for.
If one of your nominations has an (*) next to it, this means that due to a lack of other nominations in that particular pairing category, the story has been moved to the OTHER ROMANCE adult and general categories of either the het or the slash sections, where it will be put up in competition against all other stories in the same boat.
If for any reason you do not wish to participate, or you believe that a story has been nominated in error (ie-- you wrote a Tony Character study and it’s under the McGee section) please drop by the LJ front of the awards at www.livejournal.com/users/ncis_awards or send an email to NCIS_Awards@yahoo.com and we’ll try and work something out with you.
Swing on by the live journal front. There is a banner waiting for you to post on your journals and websites along with your nominated stories to show everyone, and it’s the fastest way to contact the awards directly.
Voting starts on the 15th of September and runs until the 15th of October. Drop a line to the NCIS_Awards@yahoo.com to place a vote for other stories nominated, and good luck in the polls!
