So, it's been a slow day, and I decided to do a drabble count. I have written 53 straight drabbles [100 words] out of the 425 stories on the page. This means that 8% of my stories are drabbles. Most people write 5300 word stories, I write 53 stories that are 100 words.

In other, not quite different news, I'm still testing out the idea for the new page layout. It's not up, but I've gotten a few more stories and pairings sorted out. Here's a pretty link so you can see it. I know I have at least one 'nay' vote. Throw your votes in the comments, and we'll give it a whirl.

I like the font, it's a great font, but it's really only meant to be used as a headline. It makes it really difficult to read the story links, especially those that are in a big block (like the Crossing Jordan lists).

I have a font called "Red Headed Goddess" that I'm dying to use for something, I've just never found a good place for it.

Absolutely! As a matter of fact, I plan to spend my evening doing some writing myself (on my Keith/Jon series), so I can take it on tonight.

I can see what was meant about the division between fandoms being easier to see in the old version. Perhaps doing each fandom in a different color, like the old version, might make this one more distinct? Or having the Fandoms in a much different font, be it color or otherwise, that makes it more clear? It might be a nice compromise between the two.
