The sun was warm on Andy's back when he woke up, but he didn't get a chance to enjoy it as he came to enough to hear Sean's voice coming from down the hall.

"This is completely unfair, Christine. Whether you like the situation or not has nothing to do with anything. I haven't seen Aly in two weeks, and I want to. I'm *allowed* to. The judge said so." There was a pause which Andy assumed was Christine's rebuttal, then Sean, sounding absolutely wiped out, spoke again. "I can't belive I'm having this conversation with you again. Andy is a part of my life. He deserves to be part of Aly's. He's not going to go away because you keep wishing he will." Another pause, then Sean's voice again. "Goddamnit. This is bullshit."

That was Andy's cue. He got up from bed and walked down the hall until he spied Sean on the edge of the living room. He padded over and slid a hand around his waist, kissing Sean's bare shoulder in greeting. "Maybe you should get off the phone," he whispered it close to Sean's ear.

Sean nodded and reached an arm back to touch Andy's face. "Christine, I'm getting off the phone before we both get more uncivilized. I want to see Aly tomorrow, and I *will* go back to the judge if I don't." Sean winced as the phone was slammed down in his ear. "I am so sick of this."

Andy took the cordless from Sean's hand and tossed it onto the couch. "Is there anything you can do?"

"Not until the official custody papers are drawn up." Sean rubbed his hands over his face. "Great way to start the only day off we've had in two weeks."

Andy turned Sean around and leaned in so they were nose-to-nose. "While I'm not going to ask you not to be upset, I'd like to request you try to enjoy the day. You'll see Aly tomorrow. Christine always backs of when you threaten to call the judge."

"I wish it didn't have to keep coming to that. You know, we were still on good terms when we signed the divorce papers."

"I know." Andy kissed Sean before he could finish his thought. ~You were on good terms before me.~ He held Sean tightly for a moment before letting go and putting on a smile. "Let's go out for breakfast. I'm buying."

"Sounds nice." Sean wrapped his fingers around Andy's wrist before he could walk away. "Andy."

"Yeah?"

"This thing with Christine, the issues we've been having lately, they're not your fault. This is Christine's hang up. I know that, and I would never blame you for her ignorance. You know that, right?"

Andy looked down at the hand on his wrist, warm and solid but in no way theatening or dangerous. He looked into Sean's eyes. Sean was a hell of an actor, but he couldn't lie for shit. He could never hide the truth from his eyes. Andy saw the truth in them. "I know."

"You're sure?"

Andy was a pretty shitty liar himself when pressed by someone he loved. "Remind me again a little later, eh?"

Sean smiled and took his hand from Andy's wrist. "I can do that." He gestured towards the bedroom at the end of the hall. "Go get dressed. You promised me breakfast."

"Yeah. Yeah." Andy rocked back on his heels for a moment, watching Sean move around the living room. "I love you, you know."

Sean smiled at him as he put the cordless on the charger. "I know."
