Did you ever see Munch on "Homicide"? They've toned him down quite a bit from there, actually. His opening introduction to the audience was a rant about how he *wasn't* Montel Williams.

Best Munch/Fin interaction ever?

MUNCH: "Your Jew? Your *Jew?! How would you feel if I called you 'my boy'."

Yeah, I did watch him in Homicide for a while, but I hated the directing they had, so I gave up.

I wish he had a bigger part in SVU, he gets to little love... lol. XD

It's actually from the first time Munch and Fin ever worked together. They had just come out of some sleaze's office where, when asked who the hell Munch was, Fin snapped out, "That's my Jew."

Needles to say, I was in a heap on the floor laughing my ass off through the rest of the scene.

Hmm...I guess it's because they're such regular guys. After being in HP fandom for so long where you have Veela, and love potions, and werewolves, I like to read about normal men. Men who are unique, and macho, and imperfect. *loffs the L&O boys*

Also the fact that Chris and Vincent are sexpots really helps. And Fin and Munch SO have the old married couple thing going. HEE!
