He hadn’t missed the look Greg had given him as he’d left the lounge. He had considered turning around and explaining to Greg that it had been a compliment. Greg didn’t judge him. He teased him, sometimes, but he’d never judged him.

“Hey, Gris?”

Gil looked up from the paperwork he wasn’t actually doing and focused on Greg in the doorway. “Yeah?”

“What you said in the lounge a few minutes ago…it was a compliment, right?”

“Yeah.” Gil watched Greg smile.

“Cool.”

Gil watched Greg walk down the hall and smiled to himself as he actually started on his paperwork.
