Crossing Jordan fact check

I'm working on the overview for CJ for crack_van, and I'm trying to remember if Jordan's brother was ever proven as the killer of Jordan's mother. Anyone remember? I hit tv.com, but my computer's loading like it's on a 13k, and it's making my teeth itch.



Nigel's mom is dead, his relationship with his dad is a little iffy, and he's got a sister.

Bug's parents are both alive and live *somewhere*. I know there's a Christmas episode where it's mentioned, but I don't know what it was. Also, I don't think they're practicing Hindus, as I recall Bug saying his dad played Santa [or if they are Hindu, his dad just likes to play Santa].

Also on Bug [as we'd all like to be], He had that bar fight [that made me a little hot] and ended up in a truck with migrant workers, and he's been in the hospital thanks to the blow to the head from that asshole last season. And he's got a dead brother, right?

Peter was addicted to what? I can't remember for the life of me.

Woody has his brother Cal [who gets into trouble 'cause that's what he's there for], and his dad is dead. How'd his dad die?

Whatever happened to Garrett's daugher and ex?

Max is in hiding, yeah?

Did they ever say what happened to Tre?

And what's Nigel's personal view on his sexuality? I know he gave that great speech to Tre in season one, but have we had anything solid from then?



Hmm...that's a few more facts than I thought needed checking, but I think that covers everything. I'll post as I find answers or as you guys supply them.

And mad props to amazonqueenkate for giving me great information to use. I would have had a shitload more questions if not for her. ::showers the girl in roses and Nigel::

No, it was never proven that James did it.

The barfight Bug was in was in season 2 (Ep was John Doe)

Yes, and important to note on the brother is that Bug's parents worked hard and long hours, as I remember it, at a deli, and left Bug in charge of his younger brother when he was--what--11 or so?--and the brother ran out of the house on a rainy night and into the street, and Bug's parents blamed him (or perhaps didn't, really, but he was a child and felt it was his fault and couldn't bring himself to blame his parents).

Bug's spoken to his mother on the phone, so yeah, still alive and hoping he'll get married. She calls him "Heshie."

Bug once said that he wanted to be cremated, and though his father played Santa, I don't know for sure that he's Christian so much as somewhat assimilated. He certainly showed no signs of any Christmasy stuff aside from volunteering at a soup kitchen during the holiday with Lily.

I can't remember what Peter was addicted to either, though it was injectable and came from another doctor.

And Max... I don't think he's in hiding anymore. I mean, he came out and the guy who tried to kill him didn't, and it seemed resolved, because at the end, he and Jordan both sort of had a conversation in which they seemed like they were going to try to start over as adults, leaving the past behind them. But it was awkward.

- James didn't KILL Emily. It was just proven that he was at the house sometime near when she was murdered. We still don't know who killed Emily.

- Are we sure he's got a sister? I think the only Nigel-relative Nigel mentions is a brother, and that's sort of in a philosophical sense.

- He says that his mom has a Christmas tree and his dad played Santa. My guess is that they tried to be assimilated. Frankly, I don't think Bug seems like he's very religious. Spiritual, really, but organized religion? Not much.

- Yes, he does have a dead brother. No name. Died when he was a kid. And barfight and migrant workers, correct.

- I don't remember what Peter was addicted to, either.

- Woody's dad was shot in the line of duty. His mother died of cancer (I think) when Cal was little. However, their dad died when Woody was a teen. (16 or something.)

- No one knows. Maggie and the daughter (her name escapes me - Alex? No, not Alex. I don't remember. GAH.) are around in that mysterious place that people like Peter disappear to.

- Max isn't really in hiding, anymore. Maybe a little. He's more just not around. Decided he needed to do his own thing.

- Trey had a fellowship that ended, so he moved on.

- There is nothing solid on Nigel's sexuality, no. From the sounds of it, he does what he pleases and doesn't really care what other people think, or anything like that. Because he's awesome. He's had a girlfriend (EVIL BITCH), but really, I think he's a mystery. So I stick with canonically bi.

And you're welcome. Though, can I return my Nigel for a Bug?

In "He Said, She Said" he tells the woman what part of India he's from(he says "Bangalore" and something else. . . "ch. . putna" and that they moved to England when he was 10, which I found odd. I really figured he'd have moved earlier since he considers Liverpool home(that's where he says he's from when she first asks, but she wants to know "before"). He doesn't say whether or not his brother was killed before or after they moved to England, though I'd assume after.

Nigel has an aunt, but I'm not sure if she's really an aunt or just someone he calls aunt--in the episode where the man comes looking for his son, whose body was donated to a medical school, but the man mistook the info for his son being IN med school, the man mentions where he his from and Nigel says his aunt either lives there or owns some shop there or something.

I think Woody's dad was shot by some kids or gang or something stupid like that--anyone know more?
